“Passion for goats!”

We consider goat farming both a splendid and fascinating sector. Our intention is to boost the competitive position of goat farming in the Netherlands, by acquiring new know-how and insights. We share a passion for goats, which we are keen to impart to the public at large. Basically, we are proud to be goat farmers. And this prompted us to establish our own innovation centre. We, Hendrik-Jan Evers and Erik Reefhuis, therefore commenced with the construction of Mekkerhof in November 2016. Erik Reefhuis has been the proprietor of Mekkerhof since 2019.
